How increase in surface temperature of South Pacific Ocean affect air currents over Canada?
Hi i have this question that i don't really get for science, can someone help me: How an increase in the surface temperature of the South Pacific Ocean can affect air currents moving over Canada?

- This is an El Nino - Southern Oscillation question. You can do a bunch of research about its effects on North America and Canada. During an ENSO event, the jetstream is pushed much farther north than usual, out of the northern US and into Canada, bringing with it cooler air. Summers in eastern Canada during an ENSO event are notably cooler. But a ENSO is always confusing, western Canadian winters are much milder. You should also look into the La Nina cycle, if you get the chance. Check out the links below, they have a lot more information.
