How often do pacific parrotlets molt?

I have a 3 year old pacific parrotlet. He had his first molt at about 4 months, as expected. However, it seems that he's been molting continuously since then. Is this normal?

1. All birds begin their first molt at 8 months old, all birds will molt 3 to 4 times a year. I have owned birds for 20 years.
