what can i do if I still have Georgia Pacific siding on my house?

We bought our home about two years ago. Last year we found crumbling pieces of siding in several areas of the home. We found out that the siding is Georgia Pacific siding and was likley put on the home about 19- 20 years ago. unfortunately, it was never replaced when it could have been via the big law suit. According the the GA pacific site, we are too late to get anything done about it now. Are we just SOL and will have to replace this ourselves? Also, are there siding companies that finance the customer with reasonable payments?

  1. You are sol, & you most likely can find a company to finance the project, but the disposal of the old siding will most likely shun most contractors away. Sorry for the bad news, good luck.
