Pricing...?

Hey, I went to my tattoo artist yesterday to ask for pricing on a tattoo similar to this: http://www.bmeink.com/A70824/high/bmepb595709.jpg But probably not as big and not those exact birds. He wouldn't give me a definite number, but he said they would be doing it hourly. Does anyone have an idea how many hours this would take, and the appropriate tip? I live near Philadelphia.

1. First of all, that's really pretty. I paid 70 for mine which is smaller than one of those birds but it's full color. And it took about 40 minutes. If that helps.
2. Gotta love the BIG CITY PRICING. Hourly? Any good Tat artist can give you a guestimate. Go somewhere else. Oh, nice tat!
